Modus- personalised travel plans
"Modus" is a brand new service from traveline cymru for organisations in Wales of any size, especially those committed to promoting "Green Travel" and/or those with congestion and car parking problems. Modus was launched by Andrew Davies, Minister for Economic Development and Transport in May 2004 who congratulated traveline cymru for notching up an UK first.
Using the journey planning software, Modus provides every employee in an organisation with a personalised travel plan - showing all options for getting to and from work by bus, coach, train (or all three!)
If your organisation is interested, all we need from you is your employees' postcodes, your workplace postcode and your shift patterns. E-mail the Modus team for more information.
The Modus team can also liaise with your regional Travel Plan Co-ordinator; and local authorities or public transport operators who can explore options to improve public transport services when Modus identifies any gaps in services.
